We explore the holographic proposal involving spacetimes with linear dilaton asymptotics in three dimensions from a gravity perspective. The dual shares some properties symmetric product conformal field theory deformed by single-trace analogue of $T \overline{T}$ deformation. present solutions ten-dimensional supergravity which interpolate BTZ black holes interior to either spacetime near infinity, or flat space. This allows precise identification parameters parameters. manifestly exhibit square root structure that is characteristic \overline{T}$-deformed theories. compute mass using covariant phase space formalism and find agreement formula for case without spin. also discuss whether closed string tachyons might play role when deformation parameter becomes too large vacuum unstable.
